Setting up your iCoolsport Ice Shower is refreshingly simple. Just connect it to any standard mains cold water tap using a common washing machine type hose provided.
Enjoy complete peace of mind thanks to fully automatic operation, integrated overflow safety control and water pressure management, all ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Simply Plug Into Any Mains Power Socket
- Voltage: 220-240 volts (10 or 15 amps). A 110-volt version is also available.
- Cable: A 2-meter cable with a country-specific standard power outlet plug is supplied. Alternative cable lengths are available on request.
- Power Connection: This is the only mains power connection required. Continuous power is essential to ensure chilled water is always available on demand.
- Energy Efficiency: Inbuilt smart electronics automatically manage and minimise electricity usage.
- Running Cost: Approximately $1 a day with average use.
Optional Connection to Your Existing Shower
It's also possible to connect to your existing shower however this will require the optional diverter kit. This will allow you to switch between icy water and your normal shower water.

Icy Water Needs the Best Possible Insulation
Connecting the iCoolsport Ice Shower to where you choose to install the supplied shower head is straightforward. You can use either a flexible hose or copper tubing for the connection.
For Peak Performance: To ensure your Ice Shower delivers its full cooling power, the water pipe connecting it to the shower head must be thoroughly insulated from end to end. This vital step prevents thermal loss as the extremely cold water travels through the hose/tube. Proper insulation guarantees maximum efficiency and the iciest, most effective recovery.
Shower Activation
Starting your iCoolsport Ice Shower is simple, with two convenient options to choose from.
Option one is to use the illuminated press button provided. A single touch automatically starts an accurately timed flow of chilled water.
Option two is to order and install the capacitive proximity sensor. This hands free option starts the session when you stand in the shower.
Communication connection
A safe low voltage data cable is provided to connect the main unit to the operating button or proximity sensor in the shower.
This cable operates at a very safe low voltage (12V DC) and is fully isolated from the mains, providing complete peace of mind.
The cable can be supplied at any reasonable length, depending on your requirements.
Huge High Def Touch Screen Controller Included
With the iCoolsport Ice Shower, it couldn't be easier to set up your preferred temperature on the touch screen. The touch screen can be locked with a pin code to prevent unauthorised operation.
Once programmed, users simply press the illuminated button inside the shower to receive a perfectly chilled, precisely timed recovery session – exactly as you intended, time after time.

How It Works & What To Expect.
CONSTRUCTION
The revolutionary iCool Ice Shower consists of a moulded storage tank, a very powerful chiller featuring our newly developed extremely efficient titanium heat exchanger, sophisticated electronics and essential safety devices, a large 10” colour touch screen control station and an attractive water resistant all metal highly insulated main cabinet.
OPERATION
When first set up and connected to a standard water tap and a household power outlet, the holding tank will fill and will be constantly refilled automatically as water is used. The powerful chiller can chill all of the water in the holding tank from 22ºC tap water common in many cities, down to as low as 4ºC in as little as 1 hour. The desired operating temperature of the water and the length of each shower is set on the large 10” touch screen.
During product development, extensive testing was undertaken with a large number of athletes in several commercial recovery centres and in consultation with a range of sport’s medicine, training and athlete recovery specialists, a temperature range of 4 to 8ºC and a shower time of 30 to 40 seconds was agree by all participants as being ideal for the most effective recovery. It was established that Ice Shower recovery is faster than ice bath recovery.
The very powerful chiller can then keep the water icy chilled within the region of the set level even as water is constantly drawn off to provide a standard ice shower approximately every 5 minutes continuously. This can be repeated virtually non stop.
*Tested with the ice shower machine operating in an ambient temperature of 25ºC. Naturally performance will vary if the ambient temperature is much higher and will also depend on the connecting pipe to the shower being very well insulated to avoid losses.
